BRIDEZILLAS FILMED AT LOVE SHACK BOUTIQUE
In early March, the reality television show Bridezillas contacted us on behalf of Rochelle – a Bridezilla that wanted to include Love Shack Boutique in her wedding preparations. In case you don’t know what Bridezillas is, it’s a reality tv show that follows a (sometimes overzealous) bride during the trials and tribulations of planning her wedding. All of the stores that are selected by the bride have to give consent for their business to be used on television.
On one hand, we were thrilled and flattered to be selected! (we have only been open since February 2, 2012) The brides on Bridezillas are quite often … particular, so the fact that we made the cut, was an honor. On the other hand, we were a bit apprehensive. What if the Bridezilla has a meltdown in the middle of the store? Hmmm. We gave it some thought and decided that with our fun upscale atmosphere, AWESOME selection of bridal lingerie and other accessories, we just might be the perfect therapy for a stressed out bride.
So, on March 20, 2012 we welcomed Rochelle and her friend April to Love Shack Boutique, 1580 Babcock Road, San Antonio, Texas. And well, we were right – Rochelle and April had a great time! They shopped for bridal lingerie and honeymoon items. The bride said she would be back later when she had more time.
We wish Rochelle all the best in her new marriage! The show aired on July 8, 2012 and will re-air all summer long on wetv.
